As a part of the Research Mentorship Program (RMP) at the University of California, Santa Barbara (Summer 2021), I delivered a GRITx talk to my fellow peers and mentors. The topic of the talk was jazz music and its impact on my life. Check out the video below!

In the summer of 2022, I was invited back to RMP again (this time on campus). I had the privilege of organizing the GRITx talks along with the two other returning students. We came up with the theme (Engage in Change: Stories that Inspire to Challenge the Norm), read through 50+ applications, interviewed ~20 applicants, and decided on a final set of 12 speakers to present at the 2022 GRITx program.
